Application Fee
Candidates must pay the examination fee online using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, or UPI.
- Examination Fee: ₹550/- plus 18% GST for all candidates.
Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
1. Age Limit (as per Intake 02/2027)
- Candidates must be born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
- The upper age limit as on the date of enrolment is 22 years.
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.

Salary & Seva Nidhi Package
Under the Agnipath scheme, Agniveervayu will receive a customised monthly package. Upon completion of 4 years, a one-time 'Seva Nidhi' package of approximately ₹10.04 Lakhs will be given.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The recruitment process for Agniveervayu includes:
Phase I: Online Written Test
- Science Subjects: 60 Minutes. Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and English (10+2 CBSE level).
- Other Than Science Subjects: 45 Minutes. Subjects: English, Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- Both Subjects: 85 Minutes. Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, English, Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark for a correct answer, and -0.25 negative marking for every wrong answer.
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Adaptability
Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for Document Verification, PFT, and Adaptability tests.
- PFT-I (1.6 Km Run): Male candidates within 7 minutes, and Female candidates within 8 minutes.
- PFT-II (Male): 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats within prescribed time limits.
- PFT-II (Female): 10 Sit-ups, 15 Squats within prescribed time limits.
- Adaptability Test-I & Adaptability Test-II to check suitability for the military environment.
Phase III: Medical Examination
- Height: Male - Min 152 cms. Female - Min 152 cms (147 cms for North East / Uttarakhand hilly regions).
- Chest: Male - Min 77 cms (5 cm expansion). Female - Min 5 cm expansion.
- Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
