2. Educational Qualification

The selection process for IAF Group Y Medical Assistant consists of the following three phases:

Phase I: Online Written Test

• Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, 0 for unattempted, and 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.

• Adaptability Test-II: To select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the IAF and military way of life.

Phase III: Medical Examination

• Height: Minimum 152 cms.
• Chest: Well proportioned with a minimum expansion of 05 cm.
• Vision: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye. Maximum limit of Refractive Error is +3.50D including Astigmatism. Colour Vision: CP-II. History of LASIK/PRK is not accepted.
• Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, and minimum 14 dental points.
