🎂 Age Limit (As on 01/01/2027)

  • Minimum Age: 19 Years
  • Maximum Age: 25 Years
  • Candidates must be born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jan 2008 (both dates inclusive).
  • Age relaxation is not applicable beyond the stated limits as per army rules.

  • For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders: Bachelor's Degree in Any Stream with Minimum 50% Marks. Minimum 'B' Grade in NCC 'C' Certificate Exam.
  • For Wards of Battle Casualties: Bachelor's Degree in Any Stream with Minimum 50% Marks. (NCC 'C' Certificate is NOT required).
  • Unmarried Females Only.

⚙️ Selection Process

The selection process for the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2026 includes the following stages:

  1. Shortlisting of Applications: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their graduation marks and NCC C Certificate.
  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a 5-day SSB Interview at selection centers (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar).
  3. Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo medical tests.
  4. Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks. Selected candidates will join OTA Chennai for 49 weeks of training (Stipend: ₹ 56,100/- per month).
