Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
1. Age Limit (As on 01 April 2027)
- For SSC (Tech) Men & Women: Minimum 20 Years, Maximum 27 Years. (Candidate born between 02 April 2000 and 01 April 2007).
- For Widows of Defence Personnel: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01 April 2027.
2. Educational Qualification
- For Regular SSC Tech Candidates: Candidate ke paas upar diye gaye notified streams me B.E / B.Tech ki degree honi chahiye.
- Final Year Students: Jo students engineering degree course ke final year me padhai kar rahe hain, wo bhi apply kar sakte hain. Lekin unhe apne sabhi semesters ki marksheet aur provisional degree 01 April 2027 tak Directorate General of Recruiting me submit karni hogi.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel:
SSCW (Non-Tech): Graduation in any stream.
SSCW (Tech): B.E / B.Tech in any engineering stream.

- Stipend During Training: Cadets ko training ke dauran ₹56,100/- per month ka fixed stipend diya jayega.
- Rank on Commission: 49 weeks ki training successfully poori hone ke baad "Lieutenant" ki rank di jayegi.
- Tenure: SSC officers ka initial tenure 10 years ka hota hai, jise 4 years (total 14 years) tak extend kiya ja sakta hai. 10 saal ke baad Permanent Commission (PC) ke liye bhi apply kiya ja sakta hai.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Is recruitment me koi bhi pravesh pariksha (written exam) conduct nahi karaya jayega. Selection seedhe SSB interview ke basis par hoga:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Army Headquarters candidates ko unke graduation (ya final year tak) ke aggregate marks percentage ke aadhar par shortlist karega aur cutoff jaari karega.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates ko Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) ya Jalandhar (Punjab) Selection Centres par bulaya jayega. SSB interview 5 din tak chalta hai aur isme 2 stages hote hain. Stage-1 clear karne wale hi Stage-2 me jaate hain.
- Medical Exam: SSB Stage-2 qualify karne wale candidates ka detailed medical examination Military Hospitals me hota hai.
