- Unreserved (General) Category Candidates: ₹ 100/- + Applicable Postal/Service Charges.
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) of Gujarat Origin, Ex-Servicemen, and PwD Candidates: Exempted (₹ 0/-).
- Reserved category candidates from other states must pay the standard application fee.
- Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking/Card) or via Post Office Challan by 20 May 2026.
- Call Letter Penalty: Unreserved candidates who fail to pay the fee will not be able to download their call letters. To unblock the call letter, they must pay a Processing Fee of ₹ 500/- in cash at the GPSC office or online via the "PROCESSING FEE TO UNBLOCK CALL LETTER" module before the previous working day of the exam.

📝 Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The recruitment process involves a Preliminary Test and an Interview.
- Preliminary Test Pattern: The exam comprises 100 questions of General Studies (100 Marks) and 200 questions of the Concerned Subject (200 Marks). Total marks: 300.
- Exam Duration: 180 Minutes.
- Medium of Exam: Gujarati (unless decided otherwise by the commission).
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 15% marks in the Preliminary test to be eligible for the interview.
- Interview Call Ratio: Candidates will be called for the interview based on vacancies: For 1 post (10 candidates), 2 posts (16 candidates), 3 posts (18 candidates), 4 or more posts (3 times the vacancies or 20, whichever is higher).
- Final Merit Weightage: The final selection gives 50% weightage to the marks obtained in the Preliminary Test (out of 300) and 50% weightage to the Interview marks (out of 100).

- Certificate Validity: The Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCLC) is valid for 3 financial years and must be issued before the final date of document upload. The EWS Certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Income and Asset certificates are NOT valid alternatives to the Gujarat EWS certificate.
- Experience: Part-time, daily wage, apprenticeship, trainee, honorary, or research experience during studies (like Ph.D. SRF/JRF) will NOT be considered valid. If verification is needed, candidates must upload Bank Statements of their Salary Accounts and Form-16 (Part A & B) or ITR.
- Photo & Signature Rules: The uploaded photograph must be of good quality, have a white background, include the date the photo was taken, and not be older than 1 year from the application deadline. Size must be 5 cm x 3.6 cm. Signature must be in black/blue ink on white paper (2.5 cm x 7.5 cm).
