Age will be calculated as on 01 August 2025 (Reference Date). For post no. 8 (Kaniya Vaigyanik Sahayak), age limit for contractual employees currently working at the State Drug Testing Lab will be determined based on their first date of contractual appointment.

The selection process consists of two stages: Prarambhik Pariksha (Preliminary Exam) and Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam). Exam will be conducted through OMR / CBT mode in Hindi and English.

Part-I: Samanya Adhyayan (General Studies) — 30 Questions
Questions will test the candidate's general knowledge and its application in society. Current events, everyday scientific observations, and awareness about Jharkhand, India, and neighboring countries. Topics: Science & Technology, National/International awards, Indian languages, books, scripts, capitals, current affairs, sports, etc.
Part-II: Jharkhand Rajya se Sambandhit Gyan — 60 Questions
Questions based on Jharkhand's history, civilization, culture, language, geography, literature, heritage, natural resources, industries, economy, agriculture, tribal traditions, sports, and government schemes. Special focus on tribal communities, their customs, and Jharkhand's development milestones.
Part-III: Samanya Ganit — 10 Questions
Percentage, Profit-Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Real Numbers, LCM, HCF, Ratio-Proportion, Time-Work, Time-Speed-Distance, Mensuration (Area & Perimeter), Statistics (Mean, Median, Mode).
Part-IV: Samanya Vigyan — 10 Questions
Basic Physics, Chemistry, Biology at 10th standard level. Living organisms, natural phenomena, environment, health & hygiene.
Part-V: Mansik Kshamata Janch (Mental Ability) — 10 Questions
Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning: Series, Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Direction Test, Blood Relations, Logical Reasoning, Figure-based questions.
💻 How to Apply — JSSC JTGLCCE 2026
- Step 1: Visit JSSC official website: jssc.jharkhand.gov.in
- Step 2: Click on "Online Application for JTGLCCE-2026" link and complete Registration (Panjiikaran).
- Step 3: After registration, your Registration Number and Password will be sent to your mobile and email. Note them safely.
- Step 4: Log in again with credentials and fill in all detailed information. Upload required scanned document copies.
- Step 5: Click Save and Continue on each page. After completing all pages, pay the exam fee.
- Step 6: After fee payment, upload your scanned Photograph and Full Signature.
- Step 7: Once satisfied, click Submit. Take a printout and keep it safely for future reference.
- Step 8: If applying for both Vigyan Sankhya 01/2026 and 02/2026, select the option in the online application to apply for both. Only ONE fee is payable.
⚙️ Selection Process — JSSC JTGLCCE 2026
- Prarambhik Pariksha (Preliminary Exam): 120 MCQ questions, 360 marks, 2 hours. Qualifying stage for shortlisting candidates for Main Exam. If fewer than 50,000 candidates apply, Preliminary may be skipped.
- Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam): Detailed subject-specific exam. Merit list will be based on Main Exam (Normalised) scores.
- Document Verification (Praman Patra Janch): For shortlisted candidates after Main Exam.
