Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualifying marks in the relevant degree for General (UR), OBC (NCL) & EWS candidates are 60%. For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, it is 55%. Final year students expecting results by 31.08.2026 are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit (As on 30.04.2026)
The Upper Age Limit is 30 Years as on 30-April-2026 for General (UR) & EWS category candidates.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years relaxation.
- SC / ST: 5 Years relaxation.
- PwBD: 10 Years for UR/EWS, 13 Years for OBC, and 15 Years for SC/ST.
- Departmental Candidates (CIL Employees): No upper age limit.
Selection Process (Exam Pattern)
- The selection will be based entirely on the Computer Based Online Test (CBT). There will be NO interview.
- Duration: 3 hours (in one sitting).
- Paper-I (100 Marks): General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English.
- Paper-II (100 Marks): Professional Knowledge (Discipline related).
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Compensation & Service Bond
- Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in E-1 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/- with an initial basic pay of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- Service Agreement Bond: Candidates are required to serve the company for a minimum period of 60 months (5 years). A bond of Rs. 3,00,000/- will be required at the time of joining.
