📖 Educational Qualifications & Experience

- Superintending Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (1st class) + 5 years regular service as Sr. Executive Engineer (Level-12) OR 10 years as Executive Engineer (Level-11) in dealing with building projects as per CPWD norms.
- Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree with 55% marks + 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar (Level 10) in Govt/University.
- Deputy Librarian: Master’s in Library Science/Information Science (55%) + Ph.D. Degree in library science + 8 years as Assistant Librarian (Level-10).
- Principal Technical Officer (Grade-II) (Lab): B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc./BS-MS in relevant field (1st class) + 5 years of relevant experience in a post carrying Level-11.
- Senior Technical Officer (IT): B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc./BS-MS in relevant field (1st class) + 5 years of relevant experience in Level-10.
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical): 1st class Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering + 5 years of experience in Level-7 or above as AE in construction/maintenance as per CPWD norms.
- Senior Superintendent: Master’s Degree with 50% marks + 5 years of experience in Level-6 as Junior Superintendent in Admin/Finance/Academic/Audit etc.
- Library Superintendent: Master’s in Library Science (55%) OR Master’s Degree + Bachelor’s in Library Science (55%) + 5 years of experience in Library & Information Science in Level-6.
- Senior Technical Assistant: B.Tech/B.E. or M.C.A./M.Tech/M.Sc. (CS/IT) (1st class) OR Master’s in Science (55%) + 5 years of experience in Level-6 in reputed organizations.
- Physical Education Instructor: Bachelor’s in Physical Education/Sports Sciences (55%) + 3 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Counsellor: Master’s Degree (50%) in Psychology (Clinical/Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) + 5 years' experience in counselling students.
- Nurse: Master’s Degree (50%) in nursing OR 1st Class B.Sc. (Nursing) + Registered as Nurse & Midwife + 5 years of clinical experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree (1st class) + 5 years of field experience OR Diploma (1st class) + 8 years of field experience in Civil/Electrical/HVAC works. For JE post, merit list will be combined irrespective of specialization.
- Junior Translator (Rajbhasha): Master's degree in Hindi/English with the other as a compulsory/elective subject OR Master's in any subject with translation experience + 5 years of office typing skills in Hindi/English.
- Pharmacist: Bachelor’s Degree (55%) in Pharmacy + Registered Pharmacist + 5 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital/organization.
- Junior Technical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering (55%) + 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory/academic setup.
- Junior Office Assistant (MS) - Administration/Accounts: Bachelor’s Degree (50%) with excellent computer proficiency + 4 years of relevant office environment experience. Must have a typing speed of 35 WPM.
- Attendant: Matriculation or 3-year Diploma + 3 years of relevant experience in a laboratory, cooking, catering, or academic establishment.
⚖️ Important General Conditions & Rules
- Pension Scheme: Selected candidates will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS) notified by the Ministry of Finance.
- Probation: All posts are permanent with a probation period (except for Lien vacancies).
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. of India norms. For Institute employees, there is no upper age limit (must have at least one year of service remaining before superannuation).
- OBC-NCL & EWS Certificates: The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued within 2 years from the last date of application receipt, and a self-declaration must also be provided. The EWS certificate must explicitly state validity for the financial year 2025-26.
- NOC & Experience Certificates: Candidates currently serving in Govt/Semi-Govt/PSUs must upload a Forwarding Letter/NOC and a detailed Experience Certificate (on organization letterhead with seal) before the last date, or email them to
recruitment@iisermohali.ac.inbefore the exam/interview date. - Reimbursement (Group A Only): Candidates called for Group A interviews will be reimbursed AC II Tier railway fare or Airfare (limited to Rs. 12,000 for < 1000 km, Rs. 18,000 for 1001-1500 km, Rs. 24,000 for > 1500 km) or actuals, whichever is less. Air tickets must strictly be booked via authorized travel agents as per DoPT OM dated 29.08.2022, else no reimbursement will be given.
- Information Accuracy: Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification. If any information is found false at any stage, the candidature/appointment will be terminated.
