Nationality
Candidates must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan Refugee who settled in India before 01 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (with a Government of India eligibility certificate, where applicable).

Educational Qualification (As on 01 April 2026)
- Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/College/University recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC.
- The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.04.2026.
- Important: The date of passing Graduation should NOT be more than 4 years preceding the cut-off date — i.e., the Graduation Marksheet date should not be prior to 01.04.2022.
- Candidates who had completed apprenticeship training or had job experience of 1 year or more after their graduation are NOT eligible.
- Candidates currently pursuing or who have previously undergone apprenticeship training in Union Bank of India or any other organization are NOT eligible.
Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in at least one local language of the state they are applying for. They must prove this by producing their 10th/12th standard mark sheet showing the language studied, failing which a proficiency test will be conducted.

⚙️ Final Selection Process
Final selection will be based on:
- Online Examination: Clearing the Bank-defined cut-off marks in the online test.
- Language Proficiency: Submission of 10th/12th certificate showing local language studied, OR passing a language proficiency test.
- Document Verification: Satisfactory verification of DOB, Category, Educational Qualification, and other documents.
- Medical Fitness: Submission of a medically fit certificate from a practicing registered General Physician.
📋 Training & Contract Details
- Duration: 1 Year from the date of contract.
- Training Type: On-the-Job Training on various aspects of banking practices, products, and processes.
- Leave: 1 Casual Leave per completed month of apprenticeship. Maximum 4 casual leaves can be availed at a time. No other type of leave applicable.
- Working Hours: As applicable to clerical staff of the Bank.
- Overtime: Not allowed.
- Assessment & Certificate: After completion, apprentices must pass an assessment test to receive the apprenticeship certificate.
- No Transport / Hostel: Bank will not provide any transport or residential accommodation.
- Labour Laws: PF, ESI, Bonus etc. shall NOT be applicable to apprentices.
- Jurisdiction: All legal disputes shall be subject to Mumbai courts only.
